stories this morning. baltimore city police are investigating a shooting in northwest baltimore. police say a man was shot multiple times just after 3:00 on saturday morning in the 3500 block of west belvedere avenue. the 21-year-old hit in the face and body and was taken to an area hospital and is in critical but stable condition. detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the northwest precinct. y multivehicle car accident sent many people to the hospital. this morning, there is no word of what caused that crash. meanwhile, howard county police have identified the man killed in a car crash in ellicott city. the accident happened around 1:45 saturday in the 9500 block of old frederick road. police say an 87-year-old's truck ran off the road and struck a tree. he was pronounced dead at the scene. officials say that the accident was partially caused by the driver's failure to reduce speed on wet roads but that crash is still under investigation. and a programming note to pass along, lieutenant governor anthony brown will be our q&a guest in the next hour
